Common questions

How does WedgeWise adjust my numbers for conditions?

Every shot you log is normalized to 75°F at sea level, so shots from hot and cold days compare fairly. Your baseline for each club and swing is the middle of those normalized shots. Today's number moves the baseline to today's conditions: about 1% of carry per 10°F and 1.1% per 1,000 ft of elevation.

Why are some of my numbers red or yellow?

The color shows how many shots a number is built on: red is 0 to 1 shot, yellow is 2 to 4, green is 5 or more. Log more shots to turn them green.

How do I measure carry on the course?

Carry is to the pitch mark. From the flag, pace off the steps to the pitch mark and add or subtract them from the distance to the flag. If the shot was uphill or downhill and your rangefinder didn't already account for slope, enter the yards up or down and WedgeWise works out the flat-ground carry.

Which conditions do I enter for my launch monitor?

Enter the conditions your launch monitor's numbers reflect. If it normalizes distances (TrackMan Normalize, FlightScope FS Normalized), that's usually 77°F at sea level. Otherwise enter the real temperature and elevation where you hit. The directions inside Launch Monitor Entry cover each brand.

How do I cancel or manage my Pro subscription?
